Timothee Leger and Liam Carr, aka The Pink Snowbirds, are a pair of bicycling enthusiasts with a note worthy goal. Not only do The Pink Snowbirds intend to bike 5,000 miles across the United States over the course of the next 3 months. These two have a goal of raising $50,000.00 in support of The Pink Fund’s mission to provide financial support to help meet basic needs, decrease stress levels and allow breast cancer patients in active treatment to focus on healing while improving survivorship outcomes.
The duo will depart Portland, Maine on November 10th and arrive in Key West, Florida, December 18, 2020. Once this first leg of their biking journey is complete; The Pink Snowbirds intend to rest, then continue on with their 5,000 mile bicycling journey culminating in San Diego, California the end of February, 2021.
Liam’s parents have both battled cancer; his mother, breast cancer. In honor of Liam’s mother and those dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis, the pair have chosen to bike across the United States, raising funds and awareness in support of The Pink Fund’s mission.
